Fees

Tuition for the practicum course is $2,600 + hst = $2,938

Payment is due at time of acceptance.

  1. Check out the OAFM “Becoming an Accredited Family Mediator” to review the criteria for accreditation. OAFM – Accreditation Process
  2. Review the course dates to ensure that you are available for every class.
  3. Click on “Apply Now” and complete the application form – Click “Submit” and look for auto-reply to confirm receipt
  4. Your application will be reviewed within 48 hours. Look for a reply via e-mail – check your spam folder.
  5. Once your application has been approved, you will be sent an invoice
  6. Registration is complete when full payment has been received
  7. Syllabus and course materials will be made available to registered students prior to the first class

Code Of Conduct

  1. In order to meet the outcomes of this course, students must attend all classes and submit their completed mediation reports as scheduled, unless approved by the Practicum Supervisor.
  2. To respect the group experience, students must be on time and prepared for classes.
  3. Students are required to complete assigned homework and submit their mediation reports by the due dates.
  4. Students are required to update the practicum tracking form and have it signed by the Supervisor regularly during the Practicum course.
  5. To ensure a positive group experience, students must act respectfully towards everyone involved in the Practicum course.
  6. Students are prohibited from recording or sharing course materials without the prior written consent of the Practicum Supervisor.

Termination

  1. Tuition is non-refundable. If there are extenuating circumstances, a credit may be issued to take the course at a later date.
  2. If Parent Mediation Canada cancels the course for any reason, tuition will be refunded for the number of practicum hours remaining.
  3. In the case of unforeseen circumstances, classes may be rescheduled.
  4. Parent Mediation Canada reserves the right to remove students who are not fully participating or deemed to be disruptive, without a refund.
